For the price, I think this product is good. The only problem I have is the rubber sleve for the wire in the back (for sound) came off. Ignore the previous review, as its comment has no relevance for use as a baby monitor. Yes, the color quality isnt great, but you dont need to see your baby in high def vivid colors, just need to see your baby clearly, day or night, and it does that great. The range is great. The only flaw is the noise sensitivity alarm. The handheld receiver doesnt turn on from sound until your baby is virtually screaming. The sensitivity can be adjusted, but it doesnt help much. Sony NTM-910 900 MHz Babycall Nursery Monitor [White] Review

We’ve been using this sound monitor for 5 years now, and it has been utterly dependable. There have been only two drawbacks: (1) The range is not all that great. With our daughter’s room at one side of the house, and our room at the other, we have had to move the pickup unit to far wall of her bedroom so it will be as close as possible to ours. (2) There are 9 channels on our older model. When we started using this 5 years ago, any channel worked fine. But, times change, and there is a lot more RF interference: it will occasionally pick up our neighbor’s cell phone conversations (not that interesting!); and the background suppression is now being affected by something—we haven’t quite figured out what. Having the full 27 channels this model offers is doubtless an improvement over the version we have.
