The First Years Two Receiver 49 MHz Monitor Review

I live in a small apartment so I didn’t require a really good long distance monitor. I like the fact that this works from the mains and I am not using up loads of batteries. I have had no issues with switching on the parts etc. There is a little amount of static that comes over on the monitors but I have still been able to hear my baby over the monitor. I have found it great at picking up the stirring noises my child makes so I am able to get to my Little One before the real crying begins. I have relied on it at night with my little one sleeping in another room and I have not been let down. I only gave four stars due to the white noise that can be heard over the speaker and also I would want a better one if I was in a bigger house, but for my apartment it is great!! The temp. feature is great to have. The night light can be handy at times. The battery life on the base is poor but good on the receiver, I tend to use the power cord usually. I get a slight buzz at about 20ft at full vol. but anything past 40ft is noisy. The indicator lights are handy if I am watching TV. Overall I am happy with the unit.
