I have a 2 and a half year old daughter, and have had this product since day one. It is wonderful to be able to see her, and know she is okay. I advise every parent to get one, or one like it. The major flaw that I have had with it is the AC Adapters are badly made the wires come loose (in the casing) and the Adapter stops working. I have tried every universal adapter from walmart, and radio shack, and becuase of the way it is made none of them fit, the only option is to purchase the replacment adapter from the summer infant website. It is .99, and takes a couple of weeks to arrive, so be forwarned you have to do without a monitor for the period of time that the AC Adapter takes to arrive. Several of my friends who have the same product have had this problem, and this is my 3rd Adapter since first getting the monitor.
